Post Time:03/01/2017 Browse Number:

Recently, the closing ceremony of the first China and Fiji Entrepreneurs’ Forum was held in Fiji. As representatives of outstanding young entrepreneurs, Ye Yongwei and Li Lüjin from Yiwu were invited to the week-long forum. They were the youngest Chinese participants.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Industry & Trade and the Ministry of Land, Resources, and National Tourism Administration of Fiji, this forum was organized by Consulate General of Fiji in Shanghai and Fiji (Shanghai) International Trading Company.

Attending Chinese participants were leaders from various fields, such as Fang Chaoyang, Chairman of the Board of Jinggong Holding Group, Zhang Shuren, Chairman of the Board of Qingdao Zhongren Group, and Shi Jimin, Chairman of the Board of Shanghai Binghe Internet Company.

The forum was also a good platform for Chinese entrepreneurs to learn more about Fiji. It included a seminar on Chinese and Fijian trading, a state reception by the Fijian government, and a meet-and-greet with the Fijian champion rugby team.

Ye Yongwei, 24 years old, graduated from Yiwu Industrial and Commercial College (YICC) in 2013. Last May, Ye and his team got the exclusive authorization license of Purefiji, a famous Fijian cosmetics brand.

Li Lüjin, also from YICC, graduated in 2014. Like Ye, Li chose to work in Yiwu after graduation. He has won several awards already, including first prize at the Yiwu Enterprise Competition, Zhejiang Top 40 New Entrepreneurs of 2015, and the Excellence Award of the Zhejiang Enterprise Competition.
