Jinhua GDP's Steady Growth

         According to preliminary accounting reports of the Provincial Bureau of Statistics, Jinhua’s GDP hit 363.501 bn RMB in 2016, with an annual growth of 7.5% and a growth rate of 0.4% compared to the previous three quarters, showing a steady overall growth. The added value of the primary industry reached 14.806 bn RMB, an increase of 1.9%; the added value of the second industry reached 158.561 bn RMB, an increase of 4.9%; the added value of the tertiary industry reached 190.134 bn RMB, an increase of 10.3%; their rates of contribution to GDP growth are 1%, 29.7% and 69.3%, respectively.

Growth Rate of Industries above the Designated Size Picks up

         The industrial added value reached 102.454 bn RMB in 2016, an annual increase of 4.5% and 0.4% higher than the growth rate in 2015. The total industrial output value reached 505.457 bn RMB, an annual increase of 3.4% and 0.5% higher than the growth rate in 2015. The industry sales output value reached 476.637 bn RMB, an increase of 3.6%, and the new products output value is up to 171.181 bn RMB, an increase of 9.8%. Conversely, the export delivery value is 106.13 bn RMB, a drop of 0.5%.

Investment of Fixed Assets at Forefront

         Investments in fixed assets, which ranked third in the Zhejiang Province, reached 208.401 bn RMB in 2016, an annual increase of 13.5%: 1.0% higher than the growth rate in 2015. Industrial investments reached 74.957 bn RMB, an increase of 1.2%; investments in industrial technological transformation reached 59.093 bn RMB, an increase of 7.3%; at a 23.8% increase, investments in the service industry ranked first throughout the province, reaching 131.902 bn RMB. Additionally, investments in real estate reached 40.885 bn RMB, an increase of 16.7%, and investments in infrastructure reached 66.252 bn RMB, an increase of 29.6%. The rate of contribution to investments in fixed assets reached 8.3%.

Market Consumption in Steady Growth

         The total retail sales of social consumer goods reached 197.787 bn RMB in 2016, an increase of 11.2%: 0.1% higher than the growth rate in 2015 and 0.2% higher than that of the third quarter. The total retail sales of social consumer goods of designated-sized enterprises reached 74.356 bn RMB, an increase of 11.4%: 1.3% higher than the growth rate in 2015.

Growth Rate of Foreign Trade Rises

         From January to November, total import and export volume reached 287.443 bn RMB, an increase of 4.4%: 1.7% higher than the growth rate in 2015 and 1.4% higher than the provincial average level. Total exports reached 280.73 bn RMB, an increase of 5.1%: 1.8% higher than the growth rate in 2015, but total imports are down to 6.713 bn RMB, a decline of 15.9% on a yearly basis and a drop of 2.0% on a monthly basis.

Financial Revenue in Steady Growth

         Total financial revenue ranked sixth throughout the province and amounted to 55.519 bn RMB, an increase of 7.3% and 0.1% lower than the growth rate in 2015. The general public budget revenue is 33.814 bn RMB, an increase of 9.0% and 0.4% lower than the growth rate in 2015. Tax revenue reached 29.053 RMB, an increase of 7.0%.

National Incomes in Steady Growth

         The per capita disposable income in Jinhua reached 37,159 RMB in 2016, in increase of 8.1%. The per capita disposable income of urban residents reached 46,554 RMB, an increase of 7.8% and 0.6% higher than the growth rate in the third quarter; the per capita disposable income of the permanent residents in rural areas reached 21,896 RMB, an increase of 7.9% and 0.1% higher than the growth rate in the third quarter.

General Stability in Consumer Price Index

         The consumer price index (CPI) of urban residents is 101.5, up 1.5%. In December, the CPI in Jinhua’s urban areas grew 1.8% on yearly basis, 0.2% lower than that of November.
