Recently, the Land Port Authority of Jinhua reported that as of the first quarter of this year, Yixin'ou cargo trains showed excellent results. Its line network is constantly expanding, and its service is favored by the market. Prior to March 2017, Yixin'ou cargo trains traveled 162 times to and from Europe with a total of 12,312 containers being shipped. As of the first quarter, they claim 61 return journeys and 4,434 containers.

Relying on Yiwu’s distinctive resources, Yixin'ou cargo trains have already opened eight lines: Madrid (Spain), Central Asia, Tehran (Iran), Chelyabinsk (Russia), Mazari Sharif (Afghanistan), Riga (Latvia), Minsk (Belarus), and London (UK). So far these are the busiest rail routes with weekly departures of 1-2 cargo trains. Under normal operation conditions, it takes one month for a return journey of one cargo train.

Since their opening, the trans-Eurasian cargo trains have sustained full load capacity. Such products as electronics used to be shipped only by air. Now, with more transportation options available, more and more customers choose cargo trains. Around 2,000 “made in China” products such as small commodities for daily use, clothing, bags, and hardware tools are manufactured in Zhejiang, Shanghai, Guangdong, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shandong, Fujian, and Jiangxi Provinces. Now they can be shipped around the world at lower cost, which also opens more opportunities for Yiwu’s market. It is not only entering the European market, but also bringing genuine goods at reasonable prices to China’s market.

Presently, Yixin'ou cargo trains have successfully established their offices in Madrid and Duisburg; logistics distribution centers in Madrid, Spain; Warsaw, Poland; and Hamburg and Duisburg, Germany; and overseas warehouses in the U.K. and Spain. In this way their service and line networks will maintain constant growth and development.

In order to facilitate Yiwu’s international cargo system, Yixin'ou cargo trains receive their support from the National Railway and Customs. Transport organization has been constantly optimizing the clearance environment, which resulted in significant improvement of operational speed. The journey time from Yiwu to Madrid was reduced from 21 to 16 days, and many trans-Eurasian cargo trains’ destination freight rates were decreased by 21%.
