Zhejiang Goods on Amazon

       On April 11, the Quality Zhejiang Goods for Amazon campaign and the Cooperative Conference on E-Commerce Public Service was launched in Jinhua.

In 2016, the total export value of Jinhua was 317.13 billion RMB, which accounted for 2.29% of the national export value that year. With Jinhua’s goods sold to over 220 countries and regions, its total export value ranks second in Zhejiang Province. The number of foreign trade companies in Jinhua that sell goods online continuously increases, so these countries were able to sell their goods in 127 countries and regions in 2016.

       As a national e-commerce center, Jinhua has made great progress in recent years, with its basic environment for e-commerce optimized. As to the number of e-commerce parks, Jinhua has 47, ranking first nationwide. According to statistics, Jinhua ranks third nationwide in number of sellers on Amazon.

       According to the 13th Five-year Plan for Zhejiang E-commerce Development released by the provincial government, Zhejiang intends to build an international e-commerce center. As a result, Zhejiang will enhance cooperation and communication with e-commerce platforms at home and abroad so as to expand the online marketplace for quality Zhejiang goods.

       Amazon Group will provide Zhejiang corporations with preferential pathways to sell goods on its site. In addition, the Zhejiang Commerce Department established its first cross-border e-commerce public service league to serve the development of Zhejiang cross-border e-commerce corporations.
