|E-Sports Event Held in Yiwu|
On October 3, as the top-level competition of Honor of Kings, a popular a multiplayer online battle game published by Tencent, and also one of the competitions at World E-Sports (WCG), the 2020 Honor of Kings East China League kicked off at the Yiwu International Trend Culture Theme Park. Luo Xiaojun, deputy mayor of Yiwu, attended the opening ceremony.
Honor of Kings is currently the mobile game with the largest number of users in China, and it has now been included in WCG. During the competition, more than 700 m2 of electronic screens are used to broadcast. It is the largest e-sports live screen in China and is expected to attract more than 20 million viewers.
Since the establishment of the Yiwu E-Sports Association in 2016, Yiwu has held an average of more than 20 e-sports events each year.
