|Yiwu Attends Asia-Pacific Meetin|
At the end of September, the Yiwu Foreign Affairs Office and Zhejiang China Commodities Group represented Yiwu City for its participation in the remote conference themed “China’s experience in fighting against the pandemic.” It was jointly sponsored by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and Asia-Pacific United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG).
During the conference, eight government representatives, medical experts, and businessmen from six Chinese cities shared their experience in pandemic prevention and control and the resumption of work and production with member cities of the UCLG. The director of the Commodities Group introduced the pandemic prevention and control measures taken in Yiwu’s markets, which has ensured the normal operation of the market.
The director of the CPAFFC spoke highly of this conference. The secretary-general of the APUCLG expressed her gratitude to Yiwu for its donations during the pandemic. She fully affirmed Yiwu’s efforts in pandemic prevention and control and economic recovery.
