On October 30, the launching ceremony of the new international school and the Sino-South African Education Forum were held at Junhua International School in Jinhua. During the event, Jinhua Rongguang International School and an elementary school in North West Province, South Africa, signed a cooperation agreement to become sister schools, as did Junhua International School of Jinhua and Silverton High School in South Africa. All parties committed to enhancing communication through exchange visits, winter and summer camps, at-home activities, and online classes.

The year 2020 marks the 20th anniversary of the friendship between Zhejiang and the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, as well as the 20th anniversary of the Jinhua-Buffalo (South Africa) friendship. Jinhua hosted the three-day anniversary event to promote educational cooperation and development between Zhejiang and South Africa. More than 100 people attended the ceremony, including South African teachers; Chinese participants from Zhejiang; representatives from the Jinhua Education Bureau, the Jinhua Foreign Affairs Office, and county education bureaus; and principals from primary and secondary schools.

     金华在南非又多了两所姐妹学校

     10月30日，海外名校·中南专场启动仪式暨中南教育论坛在金华市君华国际学校举行。活动中，金华市荣光国际学校与南非西北省西娅莫拉菲小学，金华市君华国际学校与南非西弗尔顿高中分别连线签订建立姐妹学校关系协议，今后，双方将通过师生互访、冬夏令营、住家活动、网课课堂等形式开展交流。

今年是浙江省和南非东开普省结好20周年，金华市与南非布法罗市结好20周年，为促进浙江与南非的教育合作与共同发展，金华市于10月30日—11月1日举办海外名校·中南专场活动暨中南教育论坛。来自浙江省内的南非籍教师代表、中方参与者，金华市教育局、金华市外事办和各县（市、区）教育局相关人员，部分中小学校长共计100余人参加活动。
