|Lanxi’s Companies at the CIIE|
On November 5, the 3rd China International Import Expo (CIIE) kicked off at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. According to the Lanxi Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Lanxi had 104 local businesses sign up for the CIIE.
The 3rd CIIE, compared with the previous two sessions, has a larger exhibition scale, better exhibition area design, and more competitive exhibitors. Companies from all over the world have brought products, technologies, and services, which are newly released in the world and are debuting in China.
In the first three quarters of 2020, Lanxi’s foreign trade import volume has reached 1.254 billion RMB. The imported goods were mainly raw materials such as cotton yarn and recycled cast aluminum alloys, among others. Chen Xiang, director of the International Business and Economics Department of the Lanxi Municipal Bureau of Commerce, says Lanxi will take the 3rd CIIE as an opportunity to attract high-quality foreign investment, develop procurement businesses, expand imports, and advance the development of Lanxi’s foreign trade.
