According to preliminary statistics, during the Double 11 Shopping Festival this year, companies in Jinyi Comprehensive Free Trade Zone (Jinyi FTZ) received 2.7 million orders, which is eleven times the number of orders received during the same period last year.

Qi Yang, commercial director of Jinhua Daita Supply Chain Co., Ltd., said that the company prepared seven million products ahead of time, with a total value of 120 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 500%.

“The huge amount of orders during the festival is a huge test for the e-commerce businesses, customs clearance, and logistics of Jinyi FTZ,” said Zhang Ge, head of the Business Department of Jinyi FTZ. He added that many comprehensive service providers of cross-border e-commerce in Jinyi FTZ had prepared goods an entire month in advance.

Jinyi FTZ has assisted companies in systems upgrading and network support, formulated emergency response plans, and cooperated with Jinhua Customs and other departments to provide 24-hour services. Jinhua Customs has also arranged special personnel to check and release parcels in order to ensure that the packages are delivered in a timely manner, and set up a special channel for e-commerce goods, so as to meet companies’ customs clearance needs.        金义综保区 “双11”单量创新高

据初步统计，今年“双11”期间金义综保区总单量达270万单，较去年增长11倍。

金华代塔供应链有限公司商务总监齐杨说，为迎战“双11”，他们提前备货700万件，备货额达1.2亿美元，较去年同期增长500%。

“‘双11’期间订单量多，对区内电商、通关、物流来说是一次大考。”金义综合保税区经营部负责人张鸽说，早在上个月，保税区许多跨境电商综合服务商都进行了提前备货。

与此同时，金义综保区积极协助企业做好系统升级、网络保障，制定应急预案，并会同金华海关等部门实行“7×24小时”值班制，确保企业后勤和园区服务工作。据悉，金华海关还安排专人加班验放包裹，确保当日包裹当日出区，并设立电商货物出区专用通道，全面保障活动期间企业通关需求。
