15th Cultural Products Trade Fair

On the morning of November 8, the 15th China Yiwu Cultural and Tourism Products Trade Fair opened at the International Expo Center. Among a list of provincial and local leaders, Lin Yi, secretary of the Yiwu Municipal Party Committee, addressed a speech, and Wang Jian, mayor of Yiwu, presided over the ceremony.

In his speech, Lin Yi said that the two major events—Cultural Trade Fair and the Tourism Expo—aim to fully implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s requirements for establishing the world’s small commodities capital. They are also influential major platforms for Chinese cultural products to reach the world and international cultural products to enter China along a continuous process of innovation and development. This year’s session will not only enhance the comprehensive influence and trade effectiveness of the exhibition, but also contribute to realize an organic combination of cultural tourism, including promotional and developmental concepts, cultural exchanges and dissemination of projects, and new opportunities and visions for innovative tourism.

Launched in 2006, the Trade Fair has gradually evolved to span a total of 14 sessions, aided by its place as a major exhibition supported by the 12th and 13th five-year plans of the former Ministry of Culture. Beginning this year, as indicated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Trade Fair has included the sector of tourism that brings into being an innovative form of exhibition integrating culture and tourism. On an exhibition area of 45,000 square meters, the venue includes 2300 international standard booths and integrates the use of online and offline exhibition ways.    第15届中国义乌文化和旅游产品交易博览会开幕

   8日上午,为期3天的第15届中国义乌文化和旅游产品交易博览会在国际博览中心开幕。

   金华市委常委、义乌市委书记林毅致辞,义乌市委副书记、市长王健主持。

   林毅在致辞中说,文交会、旅博会两大展会一直以来全面落实习近平总书记关于建设世界“小商品之都”的有关要求,不断创新发展,已成为中国文化产品走向世界、外国文化产品走进中国的重要平台,成为亚洲颇具影响力的旅游商品及消费博览会。今年的展会不仅将提升展会的综合影响力和经贸实效,而且将实现文旅有机结合,推动以文化理念发展旅游、以旅游方式传播文化,带来“融合文旅、创新时代、美好生活”的新机遇新愿景。

   创办于2006年的原中国义乌文化产品交易博览会,经过多年发展,至去年已经举办了14届,是原文化部在“十二五”“十三五”期间重点扶持的品牌展会之一。自本届开始,展会增加旅游板块,是文化和旅游部组建后举办的首个“文化+旅游”深度融合展会。展会设国际标准展位2300个,展览面积4.5万平方米,采用线上线下展会联动新模式,搭建线上展会平台,打造永不落幕的展会。(吕斌 摄)
