On November 13, the International Academic Conference on Trade Development Strategies Between China and Spanish-Speaking Countries in the Pandemic Era was held at Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College (YICC). Nearly 400 people, including experts and scholars from Spanish-speaking countries, foreign businessmen in Yiwu from Spanish-speaking countries, and representatives of the Yiwu government, companies, and industry associations, etc. attended the conference.
The main topic was to analyze the trade between China and Spanish-speaking countries during the pandemic, and exploring how to expand Yiwu’s international trade market under the impact of pandemic.
At the conference, He Shaoqing, member of the Party Committee and Vice Dean of YICC, gave an introduction to the Spanish Research Center at YICC about its think tank, professional talent cultivation, and cultural exchanges in the past year. Subsequently, the experts, scholars, and foreign businessmen also shared their research findings on topics such as how to optimize the international trade supply chain during the pandemic, studies on the status quo and development of economic and trade relations between Yiwu and Spain, and more.
