|ZNU President Attends Education Forum|
On October 29, the 3rd session of the China-France-Africa Higher Education Forum was held at Wuhan University. President Zheng Mengzhuang from Zhejiang Normal University was invited to attend the opening ceremony and give a keynote speech.
Dozens of university leaders, scholars, and experts from China, France, and African countries discussed the opportunities, challenges, and measures of higher education during the pandemic age and shared their experiences. Other notable attendees included Academician Bao Xinhe, president of the University of Science and Technology of China; Professor Antoine Ertle, vice president of Bordeaux Montaigne University in France; and Professor Ibrahima Thioub, president of the University of Dakar in Senegal.
The China-France-Africa Higher Education Forum was founded in 2017 and is held once a year. During his speech, Zheng explained the challenges for China-Africa cooperation under the influence of the pandemic, and the measures taken by Zhejiang Normal University.
