Every evening, Yiwu Railway Port is filled with freight traffic. Among the busy crowd, Huang Dong operates a reach stacker with a weight of 70 tons, which is the main equipment used to lift China Railway Express (CRE)containers. As a driver from Yiwu International Landport Group, he has witnessed the changes and development of the CRE.

Thanks to Yiwu’s construction of the World’s Small Commodities Capitaland the cultivation of new development momentum, the China Railway Expresshas grown from scratch, developed steadily, and continuously increased the number of CRE trains traveling to and from Europe. On November 18, 2014, the first CRE train departed from Yiwu to Madrid, which marked the official opening of the CRE. As the number of CRE trains continues to grow, an increasing number of commodities made in China are exported to the world, and imported goods are brought back. During the 13th Five-Year Plan, with the in-depth advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative, the CRE has become the company with the most international railway lines and delivers the most types of goods from China. 傍晚的义乌铁路口岸货运往来吞吐，场内一台自重达70吨的集装箱正面吊格就是吊装“义新欧”中欧班列集装箱的主力设备，操作司机是义乌市陆港铁路口岸发展有限公司的黄栋，他是“义新欧”中欧班列变化和发展的见证者之一。

“义新欧”班列从无到有，从少到多，从单一线路到多头并进，主要得益于义乌加快建设世界“小商品之都”，培育发展新动能的改革。2014年11月18日，第一趟“义新欧”中欧班列从义乌出发，发往马德里，这标志着“义新欧”中欧班列正式开通。随着“义新欧”中欧班列开行越来越密集，大量“中国制造”输往世界各地，进口商品也被源源不断地带回。“十三五”的这5年，随着国家“一带一路”倡议的深入推进，“义新欧”中欧班列已发展成为我国到达境外城市、运送货物品类最多的中欧班列。
