In September, Zhejiang Province announced a list of 9 provincial-level innovation demonstration zones for promoting imports and 55 key import platforms in Zhejiang. The Yiwu Comprehensive Free Trade Zone, Jinyi Comprehensive Free Trade Zone, and the Yiwu International Trade City from Jinhua are on the list.

This year, the Government Work Report of Zhejiang dictated that the government extend the import strategy, cultivate more import platforms, and make Yiwu, Qingtian, and other cities into “supermarkets for the world.” Building a number of import zones and platforms with international influence has become the emphasis of the cultivation of import platforms.

In 2019, Jinhua made a significant breakthrough with 18.5 billion RMB in value of imports, an increase of 66.8%, ranking first in Zhejiang. Wine, olive oil, fruits, flour, and other goods from Europe and Central Asia are continuously imported into Jinhua by the China Railway Express, which promotes consumption upgrade and helps build a world supermarket. 打造进口贸易促进创新示范区

我省近日公示全省9个省级进口贸易促进创新示范区、55个省重点进口平台创建名单，我市义乌和金义综合保税区两大示范区，以及义乌中国进口商品城等7个平台榜上有名。

今年省政府工作报告指出，实施扩大进口战略，培育进口主体，打造义乌、青田等世界超市。谋划建设一批有国际影响力的进口示范区和平台，成为进口主体培育的重头戏。

去年我市对外开放多点突破，实现进口185亿元，增长66.8%，增速居全省第一。来自欧洲及中亚的红酒、橄榄油、水果、面粉等，搭乘返程中欧班列，源源不断进口到我市，拉动市场消费升级，助力打造世界超市。（记者 徐朝晖）
