On the afternoon of September 2, China Railway Express (CRE) Train X8074, loaded with 100 TEUs of daily necessities and production supplies, departed from Yiwu, Zhejiang.

According to Yiwu Timex Industrial Investment Co., Ltd., the CRE line has registered 529 trains traveling so far this year, shipping 43,802 TEUs, a year-over-year increase of 186.5%. Since June 2020, the highest single-day volume of railroad cars coming to Yiwu reached 329, the highest single-day shipping volume reached 6 trains, and the highest single-month shipping volume exceeded 100 trains.

Due to the impact of the coronavirus outbreak, a large number of international flights and shipping to and from China have been suspended and reduced, resulting in poor logistics and shrinking trade. CRE trains have taken on the responsibility of international mail delivery, showing their advantage in international rail transportation. 第529列“义新欧”中欧班列启程 班列发运量已超2019年度

9月2日电 2日下午，满载着100个标箱日用百货、生产生活物资等货物的X8074次“义新欧”中欧班列从浙江义乌启程。

“义新欧”中欧班列运营方义乌天盟实业投资有限公司的数据显示，该趟班列是今年开行的第529列“义新欧”中欧班列，至此，“义新欧”中欧班列已突破2019年度528列的全年发运量共发运43802标箱，同比增长186.5%。自2020年6月以来，“义新欧”中欧班列单日最高进箱量329车，单日发运量最高6列，单月发运量突破100列。

新冠肺炎疫情发生以后，全球航空和海运出现不同程度的禁飞、停运、减运等情况，导致物流不畅，贸易萎缩。“义新欧”中欧班列则发挥其分段运输等优势，全力承运疏运进出口货物，展现出强大的国际铁路运输优势。(新华社杭州记者赵悦)
