|Yiwu-Europe Opens Up the “Fourth Logistics Channel”|
At 9:21 a.m. on August 28, a cross-border freight truck, having originally departed from Yiwu, arrived in Poland. It took this truck 11 days to cover the whole distance—more than 10,000 kilometers. The arrival of this truck marks that transport by truck has become the “fourth logistic channel” between Yiwu and Europe, after air transport, shipping, and rail transport.
This has opened up a new land trade channel between Yiwu and Europe, which is of great significance for increasing economic and trade exchanges between China and Europe, providing services to the enterprises and people of China and Europe, and promoting the construction of the “Belt and Road.” (By Luo Hongting, translated by Shen Yingying, edited by Mariam Ayad)
