China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) released the fifth batch of markets recognized as reaching the national-level intellectual property protection standard. A total of 30 markets across the country were listed, among which Yiwu Small Commodity City (YSCC) in Jinhua was also listed.

Yiwu took the lead in establishing the first trademark brand database for intellectual property protection in the country. The database also connects to the registered trademark database of the Trademark Office, CNIPA. Through comparison on the database, officials can effectively verify the source of listed products and quickly spot infringing products. This method uses the network to realize massive supervision. At the same time, YSMC also classifies supervision levels of different commodities. They give full play to the functional integration of market and intelligence property with the help of Yiwu (Small Commodities) Intellectual Property Right Protection Center to continuously deepen the intellectual property brand cultivation, promote the upgrading of market commodities, and continuously improve the core competitiveness of the market. 日前，国家知识产权局办公室发布第五批认定的国家级知识产权保护规范化市场名单。全国共有30家市场入选，我市“中国义乌小商品城”榜上有名。

其中，义乌在全国率先建成首个用于知识产权保护的商标品牌数据库，实现与国家商标局的注册商标库链接。通过品牌比对，有效验证上市商品的来源渠道，迅速锁定侵权商品与商位，实现“小网络、大监管”。同时，在中国小商品城推行商品分类监管，根据商品的重要程度将上市商品划分为三类，实行分类监督管理。并充分发挥市场+知识产权的职能融合作用，借助中国义乌（小商品）知识产权快速维权中心，不断深化知识产权品牌培育战略，推动市场商品的提档升级，不断提升市场的核心竞争力。
