At the beginning of October, the Jinhua Municipal Development and Reform Commission announced that Mid-Zhejiang Multimodal Transport Park has been approved as a national demonstration logistics park in the third batch of listings by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Natural Resources. At the end of 2018, Jinhua was approved as a national logistics hub focusing on service-oriented manufacturing, and Yiwu was approved as a national logistics hub for service-oriented commerce and trade. The Mid-Zhejiang Multimodal Transport Park is the key to the course of building a national logistics hub. It is also a part of the Zhejiang Free Trade Zone and the Yiwu International Trade Comprehensive Reform Pilot Zone. At present, the Mid-Zhejiang Multimodal Transport Park has generated a variety of subdivisions, such as international freight, cross-border e-commerce, supply chain services, and cold chain logistics. Since the beginning of this year, the park has operated 496 China-Europe freight trains carrying a total of 41,042 TEU containers, with a year-on-year increase of 95%.
