At 9:40 a.m. on September 27, the first “Global YDH” Train left Yiwu West Station. Global YDH is a joint project launched by YDH International Logistics Platform of the China Commodities City Group (CCC) and the Sino-European (YXE) CRE Yiwu Platform.

Loaded with 100 TEUs, the train is transporting home gaming consoles, solar cells, tablets, Christmas supplies, auto parts, and other products. Once it has crossed the border at Alashankou railway port, the train will progress on to Madrid.

This year, 990 YXE CRE trains originated from the Yiwu platform. By Mid-Autumn Festival on September 21, the number of trains surpassed the total number of trains that departed in 2020 (974). Affected by the pandemic, air freight has been blocked and ocean freight is very limited. China-Europe freight trains have become an important channel for international logistics and transportation, and the YXE CRE trains have handled the increase in the quantity of goods transported. This year, the Yiwu platform has achieved an average of about four departing trains a day, with a maximum of ten trains per day and a monthly dispatch of more than 106 trains.
