|Jinhua’s “Double 11” Event|
According to data from the safety supervision system of the State Post Bureau, as of 24:00 on November 11, 2021, the online express delivery business volume of Jinhua City’s “Double 11” day had reached 60.09 million packages, exceeding the 60 million mark for the first time.
This year’s Double 11 e-commerce promotion will continue the two-stage operation model like last year. According to monitoring data, during the Double 11 period, Jinhua’s entire industry sent 479 million packages and express packages, a year-on-year increase of 26%. The highest single-day shipment volume peaked on November 11, and the peak express delivery volume peaked on November 14.
Due to the conversion of a large amount of offline shopping to online consumption, coupled with the pandemic factor, a small number of express services have not ruled out the possibility of short-term delays.
In response to the problems that may be faced in the peak season of express delivery and vehicle parking, the postal management department has made arrangements with the traffic police department in advance to ensure traffic safety during the event. Regarding the difficulty of parking that is highlighted by companies, temporary parking lots have been allocated to meet their parking needs.
According to the requirements of pandemic prevention and control, all logistics companies in Jinhua have strictly implemented epidemic prevention requirements on delivery vehicles, express mail, and all locations involved, and are strictly monitoring all parts of the process from sorting to pickup. The Municipal Postal Administration has improved the handling of complaints in the postal industry to ensure that consumer express service issues are resolved quickly.
