On February 18, many farmers were busy harvesting Kalimeris indica flowers in the greenhouse of the Ranlan Vegetable Cooperative in the town of Changshan, Wucheng District. According to the farmers, the weather there is fine and the over five hectares of Kalimeris indica, celery, and other vegetables planted in the multi-span glass greenhouses were growing quickly and well. The farmers can harvest more than 1,500 kilograms of vegetables per day and then sell them at the Lanximen vegetable market in the urban area and the farmers’ markets in Yiwu, Dongyang, and more locations, which has helped increase the farmers’ income.
