On the afternoon of April 9, Lin Xiaofeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and executive deputy mayor, investigated the construction of the Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) in Jinyi New Area with a team.

The leaders visited Science & Technology City in Jinhua, Jinyi Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Import Commodities Direct Purchase Center, Loongson Smart Industrial Park, and several communities to learn more about the development of the park, the companies, and the characteristics of the industry. They also communicated with the heads of the companies. Subsequently, a symposium was held in the Management Committee of Jinyi New District.

The symposium emphasized that Jinhua will continue to develop digitalization, take digital reform as its overall starting point, optimize the platforms of development, and further clarify the development path of platforms based on innovative development; Jinhua should promote precise investment, focus on attracting the world’s top 500 companies and leading companies in each industry to invest, and introduce more talents; Jinhua should promote sophisticated construction and projects, achieve advancement through integration, strengthen overall development, and promote both integrated development and differential development; Jinhua should improve operating mechanisms, streamline administration, and delegate power to lower levels.
