姚宝熙是中国石油物资装备（集团）总公司的退休职工，老家在兰溪市兰江街道姚村。他少年时离开家乡外出求学，虽久居外地，却情系家乡。从2002年起，姚宝熙化名“木寸”，先后出资建设兰溪市老年宫、复建修缮村庄古建筑，并在兰溪一中设立优秀学子奖助学金等，几乎耗尽毕生积蓄。 Yao used to work for China Petroleum Materials Co, or CPMC, formerly known as China Petroleum Materials and Equipment Co, in Beijing. Although he lives far away from his hometown, Yaocun and Lanxi have always held a special place in his heart. Since 2002, Yao has financed the Lanxi Senior Citizen Center and the rebuilding and renovation of local villages and ancient architecture. 他退休后靠做生意和理财赚了些钱，但他不喜欢存钱，赚钱了就想拿出来为家乡做点什么。他现在最大的心愿就是把记忆中姚村的古建筑都修复回去，让“中国传统古村落”的宝贵遗产世代传承、重焕生机。 After retiring from CPMC, Yao has earned some money from business and investments, which he used to make some financial contributions to his hometown. Yao's dream is to restore all the ancient buildings in Yaocun village and hopes these precious artifacts will be preserved for future generations. |
