On June 6, the 2021 Daka China, an international communication event themed “Jinhua—a Golden Hub of BRI (Belt & Road Initiative)” was launched in Jinhua. The event was hosted by the Municipal Party Committee’s Network Information Office, guided by the Provincial Party Committee’s Network Information Office.

During the two-day event, more than 30 international social media influencer from more than 20 countries visited Dongyang and many popular tourist destinations in Yiwu to experience Jinhua’s film and television culture, market trade, e-commerce livestreaming, harmonious villages, intangible cultural heritage, and more. They recorded and demonstrated the vitality of Jinhua, a hub city along the Belt and Road, and the unique charm of the “Faithful and Harmonious City.”

Daka China is a key network international communication event in Zhejiang. By making good use of the emerging communication platforms, it aims to tell the world the story of Zhejiang with abundant interesting content and advanced technology, and show Zhejiang as an “important window” to fully demonstrate the advantages of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics in the new era. Jinhua, as one of the three major urban agglomerations and four metropolitan areas in Zhejiang Province, plays an important role in the construction of the “important window” in the province.
