On July 18, at the opening ceremony of the 2021 Shanghai-Jinhua Week, 16 cooperation projects were signed, involving domestic sister cities, regional cooperation, scientific and technological cooperation, and major industries.

As the integration of the Yangtze River Delta has become a national strategy, Jinhua has been focusing on meeting relevant requirements of “integration” and “high quality,” striving to be an active participant, promoter, and beneficiary of the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta. The signed projects included a sister-city agreement between Jinhua and Bengbu, Anhui Province to carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of technological innovation and industrial coordination.

As a strategic location of the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor, Jinhua will carry out industry-university-research cooperation with Donghua University, Shanghai University, and the Russian Academician Innovation Base of the G60 Science and Technology Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta.

The 10 major industrial projects signed on the occasion include the industrial fields of new materials, semiconductors, integrated circuits, smart cities, among others. Major investments are the nano-chip semiconductor manufacturing base project (5.2 bn RMB) and the third-generation semiconductor silicon carbide of Cengol (3.5 bn RMB).
