The gross domestic product of Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province, totaled 250.64 billion yuan ($38.52 billion) in the first half of 2021, representing a year-on-year increase of 14.4 percent. The growth rate ranked second in the province for two consecutive quarters. 

According to statistics announced by the Jinhua municipal bureau of statistics on July 27, 14 of the city's 29 major economic indicators expanded more than 20 percent, and six of the 21 GDP first-level accounting indicators ranked top three in the province. Among them, the growth of value-added industrial enterprises above a designated size ranked first in the province for four consecutive months. 

The contribution of primary, secondary and tertiary industries to GDP growth was 0.7 percent, 46.5 percent and 52.8 percent respectively.

Compared with the same period in 2019, Jinhua's GDP grew by 13.3 percent in the first half of the year with a two-year average growth of 6.4 percent, which is 1.2 percentage points higher than the first quarter of this year.

The growth of value-added industrial enterprises above a designated size hit 52.79 billion yuan, surging 30 percent, and 9.2 percentage points higher than the provincial average. 

The added value from Jinhua's digital economy core industries, high-end equipment, strategic emerging equipment, and artificial intelligence manufacturing industry increased by 80.9 percent, 62.4 percent, 48.9 percent, 45.1 percent and 82.2 percent respectively. The growth rates ranked first in the province for four consecutive months. 

The city's fixed asset investment increased by 19 percent in H1, 4.1 percentage points higher than the provincial average, ranking third in Zhejiang.

The volume of express delivery reached nearly 5.3 billion, continuing to rank first in China.

The growth rates of Jinyi New District, Jinhua Economic and Technological Development Zone, Wuyi county, Yiwu, Dongyang and Yongkang in H1 were all higher than the provincial average.

The GDP growth rates of four county-level cities in Jinhua – Yiwu, Dongyang, Yongkang and Lanxi – ranked first, second, fifth and seventh respectively in the city. 

Jinhua's current goal is to steadily develop its industries. Jinhua will accelerate the construction of major manufacturing projects, and push for an early release of production capacities for projects that can be put into production in the second half of the year. Government services will also be improved to aid in the development of enterprises. 

Its second priority is to promote consumption. Although the wholesale and retail trade in H1 has significantly promoted the city's GDP growth, some consumption indicators below the quota still need to catch up and be improved. Jinhua will continue to promote the transformation of business, upgrade trade enterprises below the quota to enterprises above the quota, and incorporate companies above a designated size. 

Last, Jinhua plans to support local businesses. Jinhua is currently formulating measures for the reform and innovation, and high-quality development of its construction sector. It will intensify efforts to nurture and strengthen local construction enterprises. Jinhua will strive to achieve a total output value of more than 320 billion yuan from the city's construction industry by 2025. 

For its logistics industry, Jinhua will encourage vehicles located outside the city to return and promote new registrations of vehicles located in other areas within city. 

今年上半年金华GDP总量2506.37亿元，按可比价计算增长14.4%，增速排名连续两个季度居全省第二位。

7月27日金华市统计局公布的数据显示，上半年全市29项主要经济指标中，14项增幅超过20%；21项GDP一级核算指标中，有6项指标增幅排名全省前三位，其中规上工业增加值连续4个月全省第一。第一、二、三产业对GDP增长的贡献率分别为0.7%、46.5%、52.8%。

与2019年同期相比，金华上半年GDP增长13.3%，两年平均增长6.4%，两年平均增速比今年一季度提高1.2个百分点。

上半年全市规上工业增加值527.93亿元，增长30%，增速高于全省平均9.2个百分点。

数字经济核心产业、高端装备、战略性新兴装备、人工智能产业制造业增加值分别增长80.9%、62.4%、48.9%、45.1%、82.2%，增速连续4个月居全省首位。

上半年全市固定资产投资增长19%，高于全省平均4.1个百分点，增速居全省第三位。

全市邮政快递业继续保持迅猛发展势头，上半年快递业务量达到52.97亿件，继续稳居全国第一。

上半年金义新区、金华经济开发区、武义县、义乌市、东阳市、永康市GDP增速均高于全省平均水平。

金华4个县级市继续发挥压舱石的作用，义乌市、东阳市、永康市、兰溪市GDP增速排名分别居全市第一、二、五、七位。

下半年金华GDP增速如何继续保持领跑态势？统计部门支招：必须扎实做好“三个全力”。

第一招，全力以赴稳牢工业基本盘。要通过专项督察加快重点制造业投资项目建设进度，推动下半年能投产的项目尽早释放产能。政府部门要全力当好服务企业的“店小二”，针对用工、资金、原材料供应、出口等方面存在的困难，拿出切实有效的解决措施，为企业发展保驾护航。

第二招，全力以赴提振消费。金华是市场大市，上半年批发业和零售业商品销售额分别增长39.2%和32.3%，继续保持快速发展势头，批发业和零售业增加值对GDP增长的贡献率分别达到12%和11.5%。虽然批零业对全市GDP增长拉动明显，但部分限额以上消费指标仍有待提升和赶超。金华将继续“个转企、下升上、上入库”集中攻坚，给经济“三驾马车”中的消费注入源源不断的增长活力。

第三招，全力以赴扶持本地企业做大做强。目前，金华正在制定建筑业改革创新高质量发展相关政策，加大对本地建筑企业培优扶强力度，力争到2025年全市建筑业总产值达到3200亿元以上。对物流业，大力实施企业、车辆、税收“三回归”，吸引外流车辆回金和外籍车辆来金注册，夯实增长后劲。
