According to statistics from Jinhua Customs, in the first seven months of 2021, Jinhua’s imports and exports reached 309.34 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 17%, of which exports were 283.15 bn RMB, increasing by 12.1%, and imports reached 26.19 bn RMB, an increase of 123.8%. In July, the city’s imports and exports amounted to 49.37 bn RMB, a year-on-year growth of 0.5%, of which exports reached 44.66 bn RMB, decreasing by 4.7%, while imports amounted to 4.71 bn RMB, an increase of 105.7%.

According to the person in charge of Jinhua Customs, in the first seven months of 2021, Jinhua’s foreign trade showed several characteristics: first, the United States, EU member countries, ASEAN countries, and India were the top four export markets for Jinhua. From January to July, Jinhua’s export volume to the four was 41.13 bn RMB, 38.63 bn RMB, 29.39 bn RMB, and 9.97 bn RMB, a year-on-year increase of 6.9%, 18.2%, 0.7%, and 9.2%, respectively. Second, mechanical and electrical products, clothing, plastic products, and textiles were the main export commodities. From January to July, the exports of those products reached 124.6 bn RMB, 25.15 bn RMB, 23.57 bn RMB, and 20.09 bn RMB, increasing by 16.7%, 27.5%, 17.0%, and 2.1%, respectively. Third, during the seven months, Jinhua’s main imports were agricultural products, unwrought copper and copper products, mechanical and electrical products, and textiles. Their import volume was 10.2 bn RMB, 4.45 bn RMB, 3.55 bn RMB, and 2.2 bn RMB, a year-on-year growth of 59.7%, 2250%, 305.4%, and 244.4%, respectively.
