The two-day Chefs de Mission Seminar of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 kicked off online on September 8. Leaders of the Olympic Council of Asia, the General Administration of Sports of China, and the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee (HAGOC) attended the meeting. Zhu Lungen, member of the Standing Committee of the Jinhua Municipal Party Committee and member of the Party Group of the Jinhua Municipal Government, attended the meeting.

By now, the HAGOC has decided the competition events and workers have almost completed construction of competition venues. In addition, relevant departments have promoted the publicity activities and held test events for the Games. The host and co-host cities have immersed themselves in an increasingly strong sports atmosphere. Jinhua has finished the construction and transformation of venues for the Asian Games, including two competition venues, the gymnasium of the Jinhua City Sports Center and the stadium of Zhejiang Normal University; four training venues such as the outdoor football field of the Jinhua City Sports Center; and three venues for event logistics such as the sub-village of the Asian Games.

The Chefs de Mission Seminar is a milestone for the preparation of international large-scale sports events. The participating teams can understand not only the policies and procedures of the HAGOC but also the current overall preparation of the host and co-host cities through the meeting. Meanwhile, the organizing committee can learn about the needs of athletes, team officials, and other participants to optimize their organization.
