On the afternoon of September 17, the Organization Department of the CPC Jinhua Municipal Committee and the Jinhua Foreign Affairs Office jointly held the 2021 Jinhua Mid-Autumn Overseas High-Level Talents Conference, inviting 25 scientific researchers, entrepreneurs, and other representatives from 14 countries. The conference focused on the topic of creating a Mid-Zhejiang region featuring high-quality development and being at the forefront of common prosperity. Wang Yaoxiang, standing member of the Municipal Party Committee and head of the Department of Organization, attended and delivered a speech; Shao Guoqiang, deputy mayor, presided over relevant events.

Approaching the Mid-Autumn Festival, Wang Yaoxiang extended festive greetings to Jinhua-based high-level talents from all walks of life and expressed his gratitude for the important contributions they have made to the economic and social development of Jinhua.

Wang emphasized that only a favorable environment can attract talents, encourage them to settle down, and further develop new talents. It is necessary to continue to deepen the mechanisms of openness and transparency, bringing about momentum in three major aspects—demand, supply, and service—and continuously optimize the “two-way interaction mechanism” for companies to solve problems and talents to achieve results. Jinhua shall continue to implement the pilot simplification reform for expats, focusing on the maximization of green channels for overseas talents to come to Jinhua and introduce innovation and entrepreneurship.

On the occasion, special guests and representatives shared their stories of innovation and entrepreneurship in Jinhua, and expressed their appreciation for the business environment provided by the municipality. For the international talents, it is because of their work experience in Jinhua—a vibrant land where they put down their roots—that they learned about China and fell in love with the country.
