According to Lai Yongzhi, the deputy manager of the Strategic Cooperation Department of Zhejiang Liwinon Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Sunwoda Electronic Co., Ltd. is the first listed company on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange to mainly focus on the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of lithium-ion battery modules, and the production scale and market share of its small phone battery modules ranks first in China.

On March 25, 2020, with an investment agreement signed by Lanxi Government and Sunwoda Electronic Co., Ltd., the project of lithium-ion batteries was decided to be constructed in Lanxi, a county-level city administered by Jinhua in East China’s Zhejiang Province.

According to Lai Zhiyong, the project involves an automatic and intelligent lithium-ion cell production line and battery module production line, which will produce 800,000 lithium-ion cells if the No. 1 and No. 2 workshops produce at full capacity. As the factory will have the capacity for mass production, it will produce 240 million lithium-ion cells and 240 million lithium-ion battery modules annually. After reaching design capacity, the annual output value will reach 10 billion RMB and over 12,000 new jobs will be created, which is a powerful driving force for the high-quality development of Lanxi’s economy.
