On September 1, the Zhejiang Belt and Road Think Tank Alliance was founded. The alliance is guided by the Zhejiang Federation of Humanities and Social Sciences and led by the Institute of African Studies at Zhejiang Normal University (IASZNU). The first group of think tank members include national and regional research institutions from 15 universities in Zhejiang.

Based on “Proposal for Establishing and Improving Think Tanks” issued by the Provincial Party Committee and Government, Zhejiang will first set up eight think tank alliances on digital reform, high-quality economic development, ecological civilization, social governance, common prosperity, and the cultural construction of Zhejiang in the new era. The Zhejiang Belt and Road Think Tank Alliance is the fourth think tank alliance established in Zhejiang, as well as the only think tank alliance in Jinhua.
