Yiwu Digital Customs Clearance at Forefront

As the new year begins, Yiwu Express (cross-border) Supervision Center started a busy period. A batch of goods were placed on the automated assembly line waiting to be exposed under the model of “cross-border e-commerce direct purchase.

After the inspection, they will be transported by trucks to the airport or railway station and start their new year’s journey abroad by air or on YXE Sino-Europe Block Train. This batch of goods was purchased by foreign consumers in Europe or America through cross-border platforms. They will receive the goods from Yiwu in about 20 days.

In 2021, the Int’l Landport Group successfully coordinated the pandemic prevention and control and focused on improving business quality and sales, under which Yiwu Express (cross-border) Supervision Center’s import and export business achieved growth, especially in digital customs clearance – both the quantity of the import orders and the transaction volume ranked first in the whole country. The overall orders, under the model of “cross-border e-commerce direct purchase,” processed from Yiwu Express (cross-border) Supervision Center has reached 12.8 million, with an export value of 52.8 million USD, a year-on-year increase of 26.7% and 72.0% respectively. The digital customs clearance business completed 452,300 orders, with an import amount of 318.3 million USD.

To prepare for the upcoming shopping peak during the Spring Festival, the Int’l Landport Group will be cooperating with Yiwu Customs, Yiwu Airport and other related departments to actively work on pandemic prevention and control, sterilizing goods, and operating exclusively. Overall, the company will be working on a full range of service to contribute to a well-managed shopping season for both consumers and companies.
