Coming from Kyrgyzstan, Mika fell in love with China at the very moment she heard Chinese. She made up her mind to settle in China and learn the culture in more depth, to be a vessel for the promotion of Chinese culture. If you talk to Mika, you can find that she lives her life wholeheartedly.

In 2016, Mika came to Yiwu to learn Chinese and Chinese culture. China has been developing rapidly in recent decades and it continues to change with each passing day. As new things appear every day, the ancient cultural heritage becomes more and more attractive, which makes Mika indulge in the charm of China.

After graduating in 2020, Mika founded Mika Import & Export Co., Ltd. in Yiwu, which is mainly engaged in the foreign trade business. Mika once said, “If my clients develop well, I will develop well too. Yiwu is really a great place to do business, and it is a melting pot of different cultures.”

Mika loves to travel and take photos, and she is completely integrated into the city. Sometimes, Mika and her friends will spend a few days visiting other cities, such as Wenzhou and Wuyishan. By slowing down the pace of life, Mika can learn more about China. During her travels, she says she tastes various delicious food and everyone she meets is warm and lovely. China is very big, and Mika wants to visit more places. Mika says she feels that in China, there are many possibilities. People can do whatever they want.

“Chinese sounds very good to me. I also want to learn more about Chinese culture and Chinese history, so that my friends will also know that China is a great country. I want to work together with my friends to promote Chinese culture,” said Mika. (By Li Zhenyang – Voice of Zhejiang, translated by Wei Han, edited by Mariam Ayad)
