The Ningbo-Jinhua urban agglomeration will receive a subsidy of 1.5 billion RMB from the central government. The money will be used for the construction of several major hub projects including the East China International Intermodal Port, the Yiwu (Suxi) International Hub Port, and the Jinyi Comprehensive Insurance Zone.
In the next three years, the Ningbo-Jinhua (Yiwu) Integrated Freight Hub will leverage advantages, complement shortcomings, and promote innovation and integration based on the smooth operation of the industrial chain. This will continuously strengthen the coordination and linkage of the opening-up between Ningbo and Tianjin. With the Ningbo Zhoushan Port as the leader and the Jinhua Land Port as the fulcrum, we will build a world-class seaport and land port, and improve the level of opening in the Yangtze River Delta from east to west. With the Madrid-Yiwu Train as the link and the Yiwu-Ningbo-Zhoushan Passage as the support, we will strengthen the convergence of the sea-land Silk Road and build an integrated freight hub with synergy and complementary advantages. Efforts will be made to build the Ningbo-Jinhua (Yiwu) integrated freight hub into a pioneering area of two-way open linkage between land and sea, a pilot area of overall integration and high-quality development, and a demonstration area of cross-regional and cross-mode chain supplement and extension.
