On November 21, a project signing ceremony was held at the opening ceremony of the 2022 Zhejiang China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum and China-Africa Cultural Cooperation and Exchange Week, 26 projects were signed during the ceremony with a total amount of 57.9 billion RMB.

 

The Jinhua China-Africa Trade Index was released by the China-Africa International Business School of Zhejiang Normal University after two years of research and development. It is the first comprehensive China-Africa trade index in China. Trade is an important part of China-Africa cooperation. Last year, China-Africa trade volume exceeded a record high of 250 billion USD. China has been Africas largest trading partner for 13 consecutive years, and Zhejiang plays an important role in China-Africa trade. Last year, Zhejiangs exports to Africa were 225.56 bn RMB, a year-on-year increase of 12.2%. Among them, Jinhuas exports to Africa ranked first in the province at 84.57 bn RMB. This accounted for 37.5% of the provinces exports to Africa and accounted for nearly 1/10 of Chinas exports to Africa for seven consecutive years.

The China-Africa Production Capacity Cooperation Development Report (2021-2022) focuses on the new highlights of China-Africa production capacity cooperation under the current international situation. The current theme is Africas Transformation and Development and China-Africa Cooperation in New Business Formats. Based on the background of the current global economic transformation, the perspective of energy security, and the new driving force of China-Africa cooperation, the report focuses on the new developments, problems, and momentum in the field of digital economy and clean energy in Africa.
