On November 8, the commencement ceremony of Zhejiang Normal University (hereinafter referred to as ZJNU) Jinhua Science and Technology Innovation Park Project was held in the original landspace of land of the Jinhua No. 2 Cement Plant. This is one of the major projects of the Innovation Park of ZJNU and the fourth officially released science and technology innovation corridor planning in our province.

Relying on the discipline and talent advantages of ZJNU, along the two sides of the North Second Ring Road, there will be built the Jinhua Science and Technology Innovation and Intelligence Center. It is also an important node of science and technology innovation corridor in central Zhejiang.

By 2027, the Innovation Park plans to complete an investment of 10.5 billion RMB to establish University Science and Technology Park of national level, two national incubators, one provincial innovative research and development institution, more than 10 provincial incubators and mass innovation spaces, bring in more than one academician industrialization project, more than five scientific research institutions of universities and colleges, and introduce 100 scientific and technological industrial projects.

With a total investment of 1.05 billion RMB and a land area of 7.6 hectares, ZJNU Jinhua Science and Technology Innovation Park will build research and development buildings, maker spaces, and other facilities. After completion, it will turn to the construction of digital economy, life and health, research and development of new materials. It will actively promote the construction of science and innovation platforms such as maker bases, creative sharing offices, engineering technology centers, inspection and testing centers, as well as cultivate innovative and entrepreneurial talents, and incubate high-tech enterprises.
