Work promotion meeting of "Future Africa — China & Africa Technical and Vocational Education Cooperation Plan" and the inaugural meeting the CATCC.

With the support of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education, this conference is hosted by CEAIE. Nearly 200 Chinese and foreign representatives gathered on the cloud to discuss the cause of China-Africa Technical and Vocational Education. The attendees were from embassies and consulates in Africa and China, the Provincial Education Departments who first participated in the "Future Africa Plan," the initiating institutions of the plan, and the colleges and universities who are part of the "Future Africa Plan."

The meeting demonstrated the fruitful results of the "Future Africa Plan," announced the official establishment of the CATCC, and released the "Future Africa Plan" and the logo of the conference.

The conference will further condense the consensus on China-Africa vocational education, build a platform, and integrate resources. It is a new milestone for future African projects, and marks a new page for China-Africa vocational education cooperation. As one of the first batch of 14 Chinese pilot colleges and universities in the African plan project, Jinhua Polytechnic has signed a contract with the Rwanda Institute of Technology in 2020.

The content of the agreement includes co-construction of professionalism, co-construction of the Luban workshop, teacher training, standard development, output, and more. The project has already covered the three sub-projects of the China-Africa joint training of applied talents, the capacity building of African vocational colleges, and the China-Africa vocational skill certificate involved in the future Africa plan. Given the achievements in the work of the future Africa plan, our school has successfully joined the CATCC.
