On the evening of May 25, the 2022 Jinhua Brand Commodities Online Fair (Iraq Station) kicked off in Jinhua. The fair was jointly sponsored by the Erbil Branch of the Iraqi Federation of Importers and Exporters, the Jinhua Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and the Jinhua Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Zhang Shankun, vice president of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Zhejiang Chamber of International Commerce, and Ruan Ganghui, deputy mayor of Jinhua, participated in the opening ceremony in Jinhua.

At the fair in Iraq, Ni Ruchi, the Consul General of China in Erbil, leaders from the government, the Department of Industry and Trade, and the Department of Foreign Relations of the Kurdish Autonomous Region, and other guests from 11 countries cut the ribbon for the event.

Jinhua and Iraq have a long history of cooperation in many fields. Thousands of Iraqi businessmen are engaged in wholesale business in Jinhua all year round. In 2021, Jinhua's exports to Iraq reached 10.13 bn RMB, and 3.01 bn RMB from January to April this year, a year-on-year increase of 34.9%. The purchase intention agreements were valued at more  than 11m USD at the last session of the Jinhua Brand Commodities Online Fair (Iraq Station) in 2021, which further deepened the economic and trade exchanges between Jinhua and Iraq.

This year's fair adopted an innovative form, combining "offline physical exhibition" with "online real-time negotiations." The products of 43 Jinhua companies in the fields of hardware, building materials, daily consumer goods, and other industries had been transported to Iraq for centralized display, and business negotiations with purchasers in the Middle East were carried out online.

5月25日晚，由伊拉克进出口商联合会库区埃尔比勒分会、市商务局、市贸促会联合主办的2022金华品牌商品网上交易会（伊拉克站）在金华启动。省贸促会、省国际商会副会长张善坤，副市长阮刚辉参加线下活动。展会现场，中国驻埃尔比勒总领馆总领事倪汝池代表中方陪同伊拉克库区政府、工业和贸易部、对外关系部等部门领导和11个国家的嘉宾为活动剪彩。

金华与伊拉克的合作历史悠久、领域宽广。有数千名伊拉克商人常年在金华从事外贸批发业务。2021年，金华对伊拉克出口101.3亿元，今年1—4月出口30.1亿元，同比增长34.9%。去年，金华品牌商品网上交易会（伊拉克站）达成1100多万美元的采购意向，进一步加深两地的经贸往来。

今年的交易在形式上有所创新，通过“线下实体展示+线上即时洽谈”的“代参展”模式，组织五金建材、日用消费品等行业的43家金华企业，把产品运到伊拉克集中展示，同时通过网络与中东地区的采购企业“面对面”对接洽谈。
