|Regular Operation of Yiwu Logistics & CRE|
In addition to doing a good job in epidemic prevention and control, Yiwu took multiple measures to continue with regular operation of express logistics and of China Railway Express (CRE) trains.
On the afternoon of August 5, entering the Xinke Branch of Yiwu Zhongtong Express, the operators of all express sorting lines were on regular duty. “At present, most of our lines are operating regularly. In our daily routine of work, we have never slackened our efforts in epidemic prevention and control,” said He Hangbin, head of the Xinke Branch. As of the afternoon of that day, the office had received 330,000 orders and reached about 400,000 on that day.
The Yiwu Postal Administration set up a special workgroup for epidemic prevention and control for the postal express industry to overcome the difficulties of insufficient manpower and to comprehensively improve the quality of the response to the emergency. At the same time, more than 10 people were transferred from other locations to supplement the local personnel to perform on-site inspections.
In addition, in order to comprehensively implement the epidemic prevention and control measures, the Yiwu Postal Administration has closely grasped the three aspects of personnel, site, and vehicles, focusing on real-time research and analysis from specific locations and comprehensive areas, and carefully implementing general epidemic prevention and control measures.
On the morning of August 5, at the entrance of Yiwu Railway Port, a driver was maneuvering his truck loaded with a container. After scanning the venue code and checking the health code and 24-hour PCR code, he entered the container yard. At the same time, the Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe X8020 CRE train was leaving the station. Loaded with 100 TEUs of e-sports accessories, toys, solar modules, clothing, shoes, and hats, among other goods. The train left the country through Alashankou Port in Xinjiang and will reach Madrid, Spain.
On the same day, the Yiwu platform of the YXE CRE recorded the departure of four trains. Despite the recent outbreak of COVID-19, YXE CRE trains are maintaining regular operation.
In the face of the severe and complex epidemic prevention and control situation, YXE management promptly started the epidemic prevention emergency protocol, having all employees strictly implement various measures such as the inspection and control of incoming and outgoing personnel, daily PCR testing, and resolutely guarding epidemic prevention protocol at the station.
