According to the Jinhua Work Leading Group for the 2022 Asian Games and Zhejiang Games, the torch collection for the 17th Zhejiang Games will be held in Pujiang Shangshan Archaeological Park on August 8.

Shangshan Archaeological Park is located in Shangshan Village, Huangzhai Town, Pujiang County. In 2006, the early Neolithic culture, represented by the Shangshan site, was officially named as "Shangshan culture" by archaeologists.

A grain of carbonized rice traces the history of rice cultivation in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River back to 10,000 years ago, providing valuable information for the origin study of rice farming. Shangshan is not only the origin of rice farming in the world, but also its culture is the cradle of farming culture of Chinese villages, and its painted pottery is the earliest painted pottery found in the world so far.

Shangshan culture is a bright star in the ten-thousand-year culture of Zhejiang and even the ten-thousand-year cultural history of China. Lightning the torch of the provincial games here carries a great significance.
