Wucheng’s First Major Project of 2022

On the original Dingding Baocai enterprise plot at No. 706, Huancheng North Road, Xinshi Subdistrict, Wucheng District, the first manufacturing project valued above five billion RMB was introduced. Zhengxiang Zengcai was launched in the northern block of the city. The Zhengxiang Zengcai headquarters and related industrial manufacturing base projects have a total investment of 5.083 billion RMB. The construction content includes a new polymer material R&D department, a production base, an industrial redesign empowerment center, and a flexible digital manufacturing demonstration base.

The first phase will invest 2.068 bn RMB to utilize the existing workshop to upgrade and transform and build new production lines. These lines include metal 3D printing, polymer 3D printing, and architectural 3D printing. The second phase will invest 3.015 bn RMB to build a digital manufacturing capacity center in accordance with Industry 4.0 standards. This includes the construction of the group headquarters, the production of additive manufacturing equipment, and a joint scientific research center with a total construction area of 300,000 square meters.

Since the beginning of this year, Wucheng has focused on leading enterprises in the industrial chain and upstream and downstream supporting related enterprises. They have made every effort to promote construction of a batch of three emerging industries: digital economy, life and health, and new energy materials. From January to July, eight manufacturing projects of more than one billion RMB (including one project of five bn RMB) have been signed, of which four have been implemented. In addition, from January to July the total supply of new construction land was 4,113 mu which ranks second in Jinhua. As of the end of July, Wucheng has applied for 17 new projects in the city this year, 14 of which have been started with an operating rate of 82.4%. From January to July an investment of 4.96 bn RMB was completed and the investment completion rate was 85%. This ranks second in Jinhua.
