On September 18, a batch of cross-border e-commerce parcels were declared on the Yiwu International Trade Public Service Platform. After inspection by the Ningbo Supervision Center, they were shipped out from Ningbo Beilun Port. This marked the successful completion of Yiwu-Ningbo cross-border e-commerce’s first export declaration in the integrated mode.

In recent years, Yiwu has attracted such cross-border e-commerce companies as Amazon, Shopee, AliExpress, and Lazada. In 2021, the cross-border e-commerce transaction volume reached 101.357 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 16.38%. Faced with the growing export demand, the relevant departments of Yiwu have communicated with the relevant departments of Ningbo several times. The new model of cross-border export integration coordinated with Ningbo Port and Ningbo Cross-border Comprehensive Service Platform to accomplish this.

The new model is to provide a new solution for cross-border enterprise export logistics compliance through the data interconnection and interoperability of the two pilot zones in Yiwu and Ningbo, as well as the optimization of offline cargo customs clearance links.
