The signing ceremony between Zhejiang Normal University (ZJNU) and iFLYTEK CO., Ltd was held in Hangzhou in mid-September, involving Zhong Yijun, vice president of ZJNU, and Sun Dongping, deputy president of iFLYTEK.

According to Zhong Yijun, ZJNU has been focusing on intelligent education, including conducting a series of activities of exploration and practice, as well as setting up the Institute of Intelligent Education. The university has also applied for the establishment of the Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Intelligent Education Technology & Application, which will be the only provincial key laboratory in the field of Education in Zhejiang. ZJNU has become vital in the area of national intelligent education research.

The two sides plan to make full use of their mutual advantages to jointly conduct research on relevant projects, to apply for all kinds of programs, projects, and qualifications, and to implement the comprehensive mode of “AI+Education” based on the “Zhejiang Pilot Zone of Education,” thereby setting a good example in hopes of building a practice community of Zhejiang intelligent schools. This will improve the integrated innovation and the development of intelligent education in Zhejiang and make contributions to the development of Chinese intelligent education.

Sun Dongping introduced the efforts that iFLYTEK has made in intelligent education and its structure. In his view, ZNU holds a solid reputation in the field of national intelligent education and has rich experience in the reform and development of Zhejiang elementary education. The two sides hope to seize this opportunity to cooperate sincerely, seek common development, and work together in scientific research, social services, and the construction of “Two Leads” in Zhejiang to reach achievements in the field of education.
