At 7:30 am on September 23, the launching ceremony of the 17th Zhejiang Games Torch Relay of the Yiwu Station was held in the International Trade City.

At about 7:40, the flame guard team escorted the flame from the Pujiang Shangshan Archaeological Site Park—the origin of the world rice culture—to the site of the ceremony. Wang Jian lit the first torch in Yiwu Station and displayed it to the audience before handing it to Chengcheng, the double champion of the World Championships and the National Games. Chengcheng raised the torch and started to run, and the provincial torch relay was officially underway in Yiwu.

The mayor of Yiwu, Ye Bangrui, extended a warm welcome to the guests and torchbearers and expressed heartfelt thanks to all for their long-term care and support of Yiwu's sports.
