On March 8, the microfilm, Jinhua Mountain: A Mountain of the Youth, was launched at the Huang Daxian Ancestral Palace. This film illustrates the fact that Jinhua Mountain is striving to create projects. At the beginning of the year, the Management Committee of the Shuanglong Scenic and Tourism Zone planned to implement 30 projects in 2023 to promote the high-quality development of cultural tourism.

In February, major projects were signed at the provincial deployment meeting for the in-depth integration development of culture and tourism, and the scenic spot space themed project of Jinhua Mountain was one of them. This leading project will be built into a tourist attraction with a theme of exploration, entertainment, and research. Construction is expected to start at the end of March.

This spring, many young people journeyed up the mountain to capture the perfect WeChat Moments’ snap at internet-famous sites like Little Iceland, Lunü Lake, and the Little West Lake camping base. This makes Jinhua Mountain “a mountain of the youth”. As such, Jinhua Mountain seeks to enter the youth market and is working hard to promote a series of small and elegant projects.

Little Iceland will be upgraded to a cultural and art youth community with integrated services, commercial supporting facilities, and camping hotels; the MuziSenhuo Project will transform the Shuanglong River Gorge by increasing the business forms of camping, group construction, and stream-trekking; the cultural and tourism comprehensive development project named Cherry Blossom on the Cloud plans to build a mountain forest and a tourism site for overnight stay. All the projects are currently finishing their respective construction plans.

In the year 2023, Jinhua Mountain’s main task is to build itself into a 5A tourist attraction. A series of key upgrade projects of micro transformation and fine advancement have been put on the agenda.

In recent days, the Jinhua Mountain Greening Project has been carried out to promote the beautification of the Mache intersection on Jianfeng Road. The project includes planting trees on both sides of Jianfeng Road, applying spray-seeding technology on exposed mountains, and clearing the slope opposite the bus depot’s entrance and exit at the tourist center of Zhizhe Street. The head of the project said that the progress is going well, and they will upgrade the greening plan before the end of March, to create a good environment for the creation of a 5A tourist attraction.

To date, the expert team has held a preliminary discussion on the improvement project of Huang Daxian Ancestral Palace. The karst caves are also under reconstruction and upgrading, and the lamp installation is about halfway done. In the Jinhua Mountain Culture Promotion Project, cultural and creative products have been designed and Jinhua Mountain is efficiently implementing all the projects.  (By Fan Yuqi, translated by Wei Han, edited by Daniel Haws)
