According to the Yiwu International Land-Port Group, the German logistics and distribution center of the Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe (YXE) China Railway Express (CRE) was successfully opened in Duisburg, Germany, on June 16.

The German logistics and distribution center of the YXE CRE will play an important role in supporting the YXE CRE. This distribution center is situated in Duisburg, Germany, and benefits from its excellent geographical location. It is located within a distance of 300 meters from the DIT/D3T station. The warehouse of this distribution center covers an area of approximately 6,000 square meters.

The warehouse fully complies with customs regulations and has excellent equipment and storage conditions. It is supported by a highly skilled team and a self-operated truck fleet, ensuring long-term, stable, and efficient communication and cooperation with local service providers. The distribution center offers a wide range of services including storage, sorting, distribution, bonded services, customs clearance, supply chain management, as well as the management, storage, and distribution of train containers throughout Europe. This comprehensive range of services enables a shift from point-to-point to hub-to-hub and from station-to-station to door-to-door service, providing a one-stop solution. This transformation reduces the costs associated with overseas goods distribution and return shipments, while also minimizing the overall expenses of train operations. It facilitates the establishment of a convenient and efficient international logistics channel between Yiwu and Europe.

Duisburg, as a key city for the CRE in Germany, enjoys a strategic location and an exceptional logistics network. It plays an indispensable role as a hub in the European logistics network. The establishment of the German distribution center for the YXE CRE will further promote the new supply chain model combining trade, CRE, overseas warehouse, and finance. This development lays a solid foundation for achieving the market-oriented and international goals of the YXE CRE.

The opening of the German distribution center is a significant achievement for the YXE CRE’s development. It is a crucial step for Yiwu in implementing their major strategic initiatives, known as the “No.1 Projects.” This initiative focuses on creating an efficient transportation system and maximizing the growth of return train services. Moreover, the German distribution center serves as a practical example of China-Europe cooperation, strengthening connectivity between the two regions. This year marks the tenth anniversary of the initiative to jointly build the Belt and Road. As Yiwu continues to promote the market-oriented and high-quality development of the CRE, it will further enhance its overseas cargo distribution capabilities. “义新欧”中欧班列德国集散中心将成为“义新欧”中欧班列的重要支撑，集散中心位于德国杜伊斯堡，地理位置优越，与DIT/D3T车站的距离不超过300米，其仓库占地面积约6000平方米。

该仓库符合海关监管要求，拥有良好的设备和存储条件，并配备高素质团队和自营卡车车队，与当地服务商保持着长期稳定高效的沟通合作。集散中心将提供仓储、分拨、配送、保税、关务、供应链管理和班列集装箱在欧洲的管理、堆存、分拨等多项服务，实现由“点对点”向“枢纽对枢纽”、“站到站”向“门到门”的一站式服务转变，进一步降低境外货物分拨配送和回程组货成本，减少班列运营综合成本，为义乌与中欧搭建方便快捷的国际物流通道。

杜伊斯堡作为中欧班列在德国的重要节点城市，拥有优越的地理位置和卓越的物流网络，其地位在欧洲物流枢纽中不可或缺。“义新欧”中欧班列德国集散中心的建立将进一步推动实现“贸易+中欧班列+海外仓+金融”的供应链新模式，为“义新欧”中欧班列实现市场化和国际化发展目标奠定坚实基础。

德国集散中心的启用是“义新欧”中欧班列发展中的重要里程碑，是义乌落实三个“一号工程”重大战略部署，不断探索构建高效运输组织体系，做大做强回程班列的关键性举措。同时也是中欧合作的生动实践，深化了互联互通，必将推动中欧合作迈向更深层次、更全面的发展，促进两大经济体的共同繁荣。

今年是“一带一路”倡议提出的十周年，在推动中欧班列市场化高质量发展的过程中，义乌将继续拓展境外货物集散功能，积极拓展海外布局持续推动境外关键节点城市集散中心建设，延伸国际物流供应链和产业链、集聚境外相关产业落地，建设国家中欧班列集结中心示范工程，促进中欧班列与产业深度融合。(记者 龚书弘 编辑 程雄)
