In the warehouse of an e-commerce company in the Kunlong E-Commerce Industrial Park in Yiwu, dozens of workers skillfully pack parcels from cross-border e-commerce platforms. Recent years have seen cross-border e-commerce flourishing in Yiwu. It has become an important engine for stabilizing foreign trade and promoting consumption. To date, there are more than 540,000 e-commerce entities in Yiwu, of which more than 40% conduct cross-border e-commerce business. Export products have expanded from the original accessories, clothing, and daily plastic products to kitchen supplies, sports and fitness products, and outdoor cycling products. In the first half of this year, Yiwu achieved a cross-border e-commerce transaction volume of 64.65 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 12.92%.
