In the middle of August, the first joint meeting of the Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe (YXE) China-Europe Railway Express (CRE) Dual Platform was held.

At the meeting, in view of the recent market trends, the representatives of the Jindong and Yiwu platforms discussed their respective marketing strategies for the China-Europe, China-Russia, and China-Central Asia lines and their opening plans of the characteristic routes; they consulted on the further dual-platform launch plans and explored mutually beneficial cooperation and development for the dual platforms, reaching a consensus on maintaining the stable operation of CRE trains in the Yangtze River Delta.

The joint meeting further improved the communication and cooperation mechanisms between the Jindong and Yiwu platforms, addressed a new approach in effectively handling dislocation in development and avoiding homogeneous competition, provided opinions and suggestions for the innovative development of the national CRE train assembly center demonstration project, and laid the foundation for accelerating the implementation of the overall development idea of YXE of “one brand, two platforms, overall planning and differential           development” and promoting the high-quality development of YXE CRE trains. The two sides took the meeting as an opportunity to establish regular communication and exchange mechanisms: they will hold a YXE CRE Dual Platform joint meeting every month and strengthen the linkage and cooperation between the two platforms, involving information sharing, joint consultation on countermeasures, and joint construction of the platforms in concert to promote differential development.

Next, the two platforms will strengthen the new synergy of the “twin-city linkage” and give full play to the advantages of each platform to continuously promote the branding of the trains and enhance their recognition, continue to enhance the market competitiveness of YXE CRE trains by leveraging publicity, focus on building lines that are advantageous for both platforms, and achieve a new development situation with mutually beneficial cooperation.
