On August 27, at the construction site of the Dongyang North Station of the Ningbo-Jinhua Railway, workers stepped up construction to complete the project early. The new main line of the railway is 188.3 kilometers, and the whole line has nine stations—Yunlong Station, Fenghua Station, Xikou Station, Xinchangbei Station, Xinchang Station, Shengzhou West Station, Dongyang North Station, Suxi Station, and Yiwu Station.

The line has a design speed of 160 kilometers per hour and will hopefully reach the necessary conditions to support a speed of 200 kilometers per hour, which is the top level of double-line passenger and freight co-line electrified railways.
