On August 28, a symposium on cooperation between Zhejiang University and the Yiwu government was held at the International Institutes of Medicine of Zhejiang University in Yiwu. The leaders of the two parties attended the meeting.

The leaders inspected the preparation and operation of teaching buildings, dormitory buildings for teachers and students, cafeterias, supermarkets, and other areas on campus and talked cordially with scientific researchers from various medical centers at the International Institutes of Medicine.

Since its establishment in 2019, the International Institutes of Medicine of Zhejiang University has made major breakthroughs and achievements in talent introduction, platform support, scientific research innovation, and digital empowerment. On September 12, it will welcome 132 graduate students (100 master’s-level students, 27 doctoral candidates, and 5 international graduate students), and 98 MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) freshmen from 26 countries.
